This last weekend was absolutely AMAZING! I went to St. Paul, Minnesota for a catholic conference. There were over 2,200 teens/adults! It was awesome to see how many people were all there for god. When you are reading this you are probably like "I don't think a church conference would be that fun", but let me tell you, it was a blast! They had a band that was so good, and some of the priests were the best that i've ever EVER heard! The energy in the room was the coolest thing ever!
The thing I would say that I loved the most was adoration. It's a time where you worship god. There are people passing out, speaking in tongue, people who can't stop laughing (thats how god was speaking to them), and people who couldn't stop crying. They weren't tears of sadness, they were tears of joy and love. It's something you really can't explain! I would recommend Steubenville to anyone, and I mean anyone! Here is a picture of the group that our parish went with. I'm so glad I met all of them, I have so many new great friends!
Along witht the great conference, we went to the Valley Fair on Sunday. That was so much fun too, I got a sore throat from screaming so much... go figure haha! All in all it was a good weekend!
